Before IVF: How did you get here?
Your history, investigations, what you've been told, why IVF is being recommended or considered, and the questions you may want to ask before beginning.

The IVF Journey
The IVF Journey gives you someone to accompany you through the process — helping you understand what's happening, prepare for each phase and know what may come next.
You're not alone.

Support through every phase
IVF involves much more than the time you spend with your fertility specialist. Much of the journey happens between appointments — navigating medication, injections, unfamiliar terminology, updates from the clinic, waiting, decisions and the questions that often come afterwards.
Your medical team manages your treatment. The IVF Journey accompanies you through everything around it — helping you understand what is happening, make sense of the information you receive and navigate the questions that arise along the way.
The program
01

Your history, investigations, what you've been told, why IVF is being recommended or considered, and the questions you may want to ask before beginning.
02

Your treatment plan, appointments, medication overview, practical preparation, work / travel / life logistics and questions for the clinic.
03

Practical guidance for the medication phase: how to prepare for injections, organise your medication schedule, understand monitoring and navigate the terminology and questions that arise.
04

What to expect around retrieval, understanding the process, fertilisation and embryo development, and making sense of the information you receive and the questions you may want to ask.
05

What happens around transfer, practical preparation, understanding what you've been asked to do and what to expect during the waiting period.
06

Whatever the result, the journey doesn't simply end at the pregnancy test. If the result is positive, we help you understand the transition into ongoing care and what comes next. If it isn't, we help you make sense of what you've been told, understand the options presented to you and what naturally follows.

I know this journey from the other side.
I have been through IVF myself. I know what it is like to navigate appointments, medication and injections, to wait for results, and to experience how quickly hope can change from one moment to the next. That lived experience is part of why I created The IVF Journey — to offer the understanding, preparation and continuity I know can matter while you are going through it.
