Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
The website karinaiscoaching.com (“Karina is coaching”) is operated by Kari Zenith Management Consultancy, Al Saoud Tower, Qibla, Kuwait (“we”, “us”, “our”).
We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. This means we decide why and how your personal data is used.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, register for a workshop, buy a program or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, California privacy laws (CalOPPA and, where applicable, the CCPA/CPRA) and other applicable laws.
Questions about this policy or your personal data: kms@karinaiscoaching.com
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need. Most of it comes directly from you.
| Category | What it includes | When we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact | First name, last name, email address | Workshop registration, enquiries, purchases |
| Registration details | Session chosen, age range (optional), your email consent | Workshop registration |
| Purchase details | Name, email, billing details such as phone number or address where the payment provider requires them, transaction records | When you buy a program |
| Participation | Questions you submit before sessions, attendance, messages you send us | During workshops and programs |
| Communications | The content of emails or messages you send us | When you contact us |
| Technical | IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of visit | Automatically, when you use the website |
We do not see or store your full card details. They are handled by our payment provider (see section 5).
Do you have to give us your data? Your name, email and session choice are needed to register you for a workshop. Your age range is optional. Without the required details, we cannot register you or deliver a program you buy.
Sensitive data. We do not ask for health information. If you choose to share details about your skin or health in a question or message, we use them only to answer you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
3. How we use your information and our legal bases
Under the GDPR we must have a legal basis for each use of your data. We use it as follows:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Register you for a workshop and send the joining link and reminders | Performance of a contract (providing the service you asked for) |
| Send you emails about our workshops and programs, such as Skin Reset 36+ | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Deliver programs you buy and communicate with you about them | Performance of a contract |
| Process payments, keep accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Answer your questions and enquiries | Our legitimate interest in responding to you |
| Keep the website secure and working, and understand how it is used | Our legitimate interest in running and improving our business |
| Protect our legal rights and handle disputes | Our legitimate interest |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced them against your rights. You can object at any time (see section 10).
We do not use your data for purposes other than those above without telling you first.
4. Email marketing
We send marketing emails only if you have agreed, for example by ticking the consent box when you register for a workshop.
Our emails are sent through Wix (email marketing). Wix stores your name, email address and the emails you receive from us on our behalf. You can read how Wix handles data in its privacy policy.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing kms@karinaiscoaching.com. After you unsubscribe, we may still send you essential service messages, such as details of a program you have bought.
5. Payments
Payments for our programs are processed by MyFatoorah, a licensed payment provider. When you pay, you give your payment details directly to MyFatoorah, not to us. We receive only confirmation of the payment and basic transaction details (your name, email, amount, date and payment status).
MyFatoorah handles your data under its own privacy policy.
6. Live sessions
Our workshops and live sessions are held on Zoom. When you join, Zoom processes your name as displayed, your connection details and, if you turn them on, your camera and microphone. Other participants may see your display name. You can choose the name you display and keep your camera off.
Our free workshops are live only. We do not record them or offer replays.
Sessions in our paid programs are recorded so that enrolled participants who could not attend can watch the replay. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in giving participants access to the sessions they paid for. We tell participants at the start of each session that it is being recorded.
A recording may include your display name and, if you turn them on, your video, voice and chat messages. If you prefer not to appear, you can keep your camera and microphone off and change your display name.
Replays are shared only with participants enrolled in that program, and remain available until 7 days after the program’s final session. After that, we remove access and delete the recordings, unless you have agreed to a different use.
7. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only what each one needs:
| Provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Lovable | Hosts our website and stores workshop registrations (privacy policy) |
| Wix | Sends our emails and stores our contact list |
| Zoom | Hosts our live workshops and sessions |
| MyFatoorah | Processes payments |
These providers process data on our instructions or under their own privacy policies for the service they provide.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers), to authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights. If our business is ever sold or restructured, your data may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.
8. International transfers
We are based in Kuwait, and our service providers are located in several countries, including the United States and the European Union. Your data may therefore be processed outside your country.
When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses included in our providers’ terms. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
9. How long we keep your information
| Data | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Workshop registrations and email marketing data | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 2 years after your last interaction with us |
| Purchase and payment records | As long as tax and accounting laws require |
| Questions and messages | Up to 2 years after our last contact, unless needed for an ongoing program |
| Technical data | Up to 12 months |
Recordings of program sessions are deleted 7 days after the program’s final session.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
10. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, and in many other places, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict how we use your data
- Object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
- Data portability: receive your data in a common format or have it sent to another provider
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it
- Complain to a data protection authority, such as the one in the country where you live or work
To use any of these rights, email kms@karinaiscoaching.com. We will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Using your rights is free, unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
11. California residents

12. Cookies and Do Not Track
Our website uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for it to work and stay secure. We do not use advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work properly without essential cookies.
Do Not Track. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, our website does not change its behaviour in response to Do Not Track signals.
13. Our Facebook page
We run a Facebook page, Karina is coaching. When you visit or interact with it, Meta collects data about you under its own privacy policy. Meta gives us anonymous statistics about page visits (Page Insights). For these statistics, we and Meta are joint controllers, and Meta has agreed to take primary responsibility for them. You can exercise your rights regarding this data directly with Meta.
14. Children
Our website, workshops and programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we choose providers with strong security practices. No internet transmission is completely secure. If a data breach affects you and the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant authorities.
16. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal or similarly significant effects.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we will tell you by email or on the website.
